About Found My Keys
Found My Keys is an independent UK guide to Bluetooth item trackers — AirTags and the many alternatives — and the accessories and GPS pet trackers that go with them.
What we do
Trackers look alike but work very differently. The most important difference is the network: an Apple Find My tracker needs an iPhone, a Galaxy SmartTag2 needs a Samsung Galaxy phone, and Google Find Hub trackers need Android. We list the trackers sold in the UK with the facts that decide whether one will work for you — network, phone compatibility, battery, water rating and finding features — and explain how to use them safely.
How we research
- Specifications come from each maker’s own product, specification and support pages. Each product page lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- If a maker doesn’t state something, we leave it blank rather than guess.
- Safety and privacy guides cite Apple, Google, the police and UK charities.
- We don’t publish prices, star ratings, rankings or “best buy” awards. Prices change constantly, and we haven’t lab-tested these products, so we don’t pretend to score them.
Independence
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Google, Samsung, Tile, Life360, Chipolo, Pebblebee, Eufy, Motorola, Ugreen or any other brand mentioned. Product names are trademarks of their owners. The site is funded by affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure. Affiliate links never decide what we list or what we say about a product.
Spotted a mistake?
Trackers get software updates and makers change their specs. If something here is out of date, please tell us and we’ll check it against the maker’s page.
