Using the information

Found My Keys gives general information about item trackers. We take care to use makers’ own published specifications and official guidance, and we date-stamp what we check, but products and software change and we can make mistakes. Please check important details — especially compatibility, battery and safety information — with the manufacturer or retailer before you buy or rely on a product.

Nothing on this site is legal advice or a substitute for help from the police or a support service. If you are in danger, call 999.

Using trackers lawfully

Item trackers are designed to help you find your own belongings. Using a tracker to follow or monitor another person without their knowledge can be a criminal offence. Don’t do it.
