How it works
Android phones in the Find Hub network scan for nearby trackers using Bluetooth and securely send their location to Find Hub. Google says the location is encrypted with a key that only you can unlock with your Android PIN, pattern or password. Trackers are added with Fast Pair.
Network setting
You choose how your phone takes part: Off, Without network, With network in busy places only, or With network everywhere. Google says reports are aggregated by default, so several phones must detect a tag before its location is shown.
