How it works
A Tile is found when it comes into Bluetooth range of your phone or another Tile app user’s phone. Ringing a Tile and seeing its last known location are free; Tile Premium adds extras such as left-behind alerts and location history.
Safety features
Anyone can use Scan and Secure in the Tile app — no account needed — to look for Tiles travelling with them. Owners can switch on Anti-Theft Mode only after ID verification.
Good to know
- Only Tile Pro has a replaceable battery; Tile, Tile Slim and Tile Sticker are sealed and rated for up to three years.
- No current Tile has Ultra Wideband.
